Museum System Design

For this project, we were given the choice to either rebrand an existing museum or gallery or create a new one. I chose to design a new gallery focused on Impressionist art, a genre that has deeply influenced me throughout my life. I named the gallery Luminescent Gallery, reflecting the glowing, radiant quality of Impressionist art, which aligns with the aesthetic and ambiance I wanted to convey.

The branding process involved exploring multiple names and logo concepts before finalizing an elegant yet simple cursive logo that embodies sophistication and approachability. I extended the branding to various materials, including both print and digital assets. One key print piece was a spring events brochure, showcasing activities like wine tastings and paint-and-sip classes, which are also featured in ticket designs within the project.

One of my favorite components of this project was creating Instagram mockups for the gallery. These posts highlight events and feature artwork from the gallery, bringing the brand to life through a cohesive digital presence. This project allowed me to merge my passion for art with my design skills, creating a dynamic and engaging concept for the Luminescent Gallery.
